Once Upon A Live SXSW Episode (Feat. Nick Gaines)

Once upon a time, the good folks at SXSW invited a pair of exuberant, Extraordinary Negroes to Austin in order to record a live episode on their official Live Podcast Stage. So we hopped our Black asses on planes, trains, and automobiles in order to happily oblige. In front of a big ass audience, with our surprise guest Nick Gaines in tow, this is the episode we recorded. And because this moment wouldn't be possible without our faithful listeners, we felt is was only right to share this momentous occasion with each of you. So thanks again to SXSW for the once in a lifetime experience and to the good folks at TuneIn for holding us down during this event!

The Afterparty: "Get Out" (Feat. Fazia Khan)

After stinking up the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Jordan Peele attempts to redeem himself with his feature film directorial debut Get Out. And with so much to unpack in this movie, it was only fitting Jay invited the illustrious Fazia Khan along for the ride.

Episode 19: A Love Supreme (Feat. Dr. Jeanine Staples and Jas Hands of The Brown Liquor Report)

Immediately following our first live event, "A Very Extraordinary Watch Party" at Johnny Pistolas in Washington DC, we hopped on the mic and got busy for the culture. The event itself sold out, so shout to everyone who came through and showed us love.

On 12/15, we attended the world premiere screening and cast Q&A of "The New Edition Story" and recorded this episode immediately afterward. So in this episode, we discuss out thoughts, opinions, and reactions to Part 1 of "The New Edition Story", our experience watching this movie with Bobby Brown, BET executives, and the rest of the cast, and what we learned about New Edition by watching this movie.
